Crashing The South Texas Afghanistan Iraq Veteran Association Holiday Celebration

By December 9, 2016 No Comments

Earlier this evening South Texas Afghanistan Iraq Veteran Association (STAIVA) hosted their Holiday Celebration and The Crashers had the privilege of playing for all the veterans in attendance. The event took place at the Half Moon Saloon off of East Adams Street and 11th Street in downtown Brownsville. Even though it was a cold night, many people still showed up and had fun. There was free food, drinks and of course live music. The members of STAIVA were absolutely fun to be around too. They were not only fun to have a conversation with, but to also have drinks with. They definitely know how to have a good time.

The Crashers would like to thank everyone who came out to the event; the crowd made the night what it was. We would also like to thank all the members of STAIVA for their generosity, support, hospitality and most of all their service. It was a huge pleasure playing for your event.

STAIVA was founded in 2013 and their mission is as follows:

To foster, assist and empower veterans from the Afghanistan & Iraq wars in the South Texas Rio Grande Valley.
